Tub Time!

Sorry about the lack of recent posts, everyone....we've been pretty busy. In the meanwhile, here's a funny little video of Jane taking a tub in the sink and trying to drink some bathwater.

September 2009

September was a really busy month. As you can see, Jane has been working on crawling, she isn't quite there yet, but I think it's just a matter of days. Also, she has been cutting teeth like a champ, no fussing. Chris and I have been super busy. Chris started working on his ESL Certificate at San Diego State, we both started work on a grant coordinating youth-focused PSAs for Univision, and I started teaching a photography class for San Diego's Museum of Photographic Art. This in addition to our editing work. Also, we moved to a bigger place in a nice area of San Diego (the next update will have pictures of the new place and neighborhood). Oh...and we went to Mariposa and I took Chris and Jane to the fair.


Some how, this seems to be a scene that I have seen one hundred times over the years.



Jane had a great time at the fair and even got Meme to come out one evening.





Have I mentioned that in Mariposa we did two weeks of square dancing during P.E....

August 2009 Wrap-Up

Street Scene, San Diego's big music festival, was this weekend. Some of Chris' friends from college have formed a band, Band of Horses, and have made a bit of a name for themselves in certain music circles. Band of Horses played at Street Scene and we were able to visit with Chris' old friends and get backstage passes. Below, Chris and Jane hang out with Chris' old roommate and BoH drummer Creighton.

Dog Days of Summer

As summer wears on things are starting to get a little weird around here....


To pass time, Chris introduces Jane to a classic, Point Break.


And Meme came to visit us. Meme and Jane had lots of fun playing, going to the zoo, and swinging in the park. And I got to take a few lovely naps.


We are thinking about taking this act on the road.
