Nanny and Papa's 60th Wedding Anniversary

This year my grandparents, Nanny and Papa, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. My Aunt Lisa, who graciously and generously, hosted the party noted that you can't find any cards or party decorations that specifically recognize a 60th wedding anniversary...it is that uncommon and unique, but my grandparents are extraordinary people (who also married really young).

Jane wasn't so sure she wanted a kiss from her cousin Delaney.

Cousins (well second cousins) -- Delaney, Jane, and Lucy...adorable!

My cousins, Meredith, Hayley, and Jessica served up some mean shakes and malts.

Cousin Savannah

Nanny

Jane repurposed some discarded decorations and made a festive skirt...

...then tickled the ivories a little.

Never one to be left out, Uncle Danny found his own similar skirt and got in on the action.

The anniversary celebration was held in San Diego and the Goger Crew crashed at our place. The next day we hit up the swings at Chris' farmer's market in Leucadia.

*All the great pictures in the post were taken by my brother Joe. Thanks!
